Smoothies are great for losing weight because you can make them in so many different and healthy ways. This Apple & Pear weight loss smoothie is high nutrition, low calories and very satisfying.
In your favorite blender mix:
- ½ cup cored and sliced apples (your favorite)
- ½ cup sliced pears
- 1 cup low calorie plain Greek yogurt
- 1 cup non-fat milk (or soy milk, rice milk, etc.)
- 1 Tbsp. Chia seed
- Ice to taste
Depending on how robust your blender, you might have to feed the sliced apples and pears into the mix a little at a time to prevent jamming or, worse, breaking a blade.
