A very tasty apricot honey smoothie recipe with only four ingredients. Easy to make and a good choice for a breakfast or a snack later in the day.
Apricots offer vitamins, minerals, fiber, and are low in calories too. Their flavor is not as strong as some other fruits so any apricot smoothie recipe has to be careful not to overwhelm the apricots and this recipe does that very well.
Note: take the time to pit, peel, and chop your apricots for easier blending
In your favorite blender mix:
- 1/2 cup fresh apricots
- 1/2 cup Orange Juice (Fresh is better than concentrate)
- 1/2 cup plain or Vanilla low fat Greek Yogurt
- 2 Tbsp. Honey (or to taste)
- Optional: 1 Tbsp.Chia seed
