Even more nutritional goodness comes from a tablespoon of Chia seed. Unlike Flax seed, Chia doesn’t have any noticeable taste of its own so adding it to the mix is not going to change the delicious results. Chia also provides a whole range of nutrients including antioxidants and hearth healthy, cholesterol fighting omega 3 fatty acids.
In your favorite blender mix:
- A ripe avocado, pitted and cut in half
- Half a cup Greek plain or vanilla yogurt
- 1 cup Almond Milk
- 2-3 Tbs. honey
- Ice to taste
