Anything with the name “banana orange coconut smoothie” obviously has a lot of fruit nutrition and is one very good reason why smoothies are so good at adding fruits to our diets without a lot of pain or fuss.
As posted, this recipe make a single serving but it can be increased to serve two (or seconds!) very easily.
In your favorite blender mix:
- half a frozen banana (peel and freeze before freezing)
- 2 oz. (quarter cup)each of Fresh Orange juice and Fresh Pineapple Juice
- Tbsp. Coconut milk
- Just a pinch of grated Ginger (maybe half a tsp.)
- 1 Tbsp. Chia seed (Optional)
- Ice to taste
