Bananas are available all year long and so are papayas. This means you can enjoy this Banana Papaya Smoothie mix any time of year. Once mixed together you will enjoy a delicious fruit smoothie that provides a wide variety of nutrients including Vitamin A, C and potassium. With only three required ingredients (as always, the Chia seed is optional), this is a very easy recipe to create.
In your favorite blender mix:
- 1 cup of yogurt (plain,vanilla or banana; I think Greek yogurt works best)
- 1 frozen banana (TIP: peel and slice it BEFORE FREEZING!)
- 1/2 large, ripe papaya, peeled, seeded and chopped
- 1 Tbsp. Chia seed
