If you are any fan of smoothies at all you will already know that blueberries are one of the most popular of all smoothie ingredients. In fact, I think there are more than 50 recipes here that use blueberries. And this Blueberry Avocado smoothie is no exception and will find favor with blueberry lovers everywhere.

Blueberry Avocado Smoothie

  • 2 cups blueberries (fresh in season, frozen if not)
  • 1 sliced avocado
  • 1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup milk (your choice of type, soy is good)
  • 1/2 cup ice (might not need this if you are using frozen berries)
  • 1 tbsp. Chia Seed
    • This mixes up into a really creamy consistency and is one I think you are going to like.
