Cucumber Spinach Smoothie:
Many try Kale in smoothies and find that the taste is too bold for their taste. For those, and everyone else, spinach is also a wonderful smoothie ingredient with a much milder taste. And this recipe even has cucumber!
This recipe takes a bit of time and has a bunch of ingredients but the payoff is the treat you get in the end. This recipe makes two healthy Cucumber Spinach smoothie!
In your favorite blender mix:
- 1 cup skinned and sliced cucumber
- 2 cups baby spinach
- 2 previously frozen bananas (peel and slice BEFORE freezing!)
- 2 cups sliced Pineapple
- 1 cup filtered water
- 1/2 cup Orange Juice
- 1 Tbsp. Chia seed
