To me, you either love grapefruit or you don’t. Personally I have never met anyone who is just so-so about the fruit. But, even if you are not a fan, you have to admit that grapefruit is a great source of vitamin C, lycopene, and other nutrients. This grapefruit berry smoothie recipe uses both blueberries and strawberries as well as grapefruit juice. Even if you count yourself among those that aren’t usually grapefruit fans, you should give this mix a try.
In your favorite blender mix:
- 1 1/2 cups pink grapefruit juice
- 3/4 cup blueberries
- 1/2 cup strawberries
- 1 frozen banana, peeled and sliced (TIP: Peel and slice BEFORE FREEZING!)
- Ice to taste
