You either love grapefruit or you don’t so be warned that this Grapefruit Juice smoothie recipe does have a lot of grapefruit taste.
Personally I have never met anyone who is just so-so about the fruit. But, even if you are not a fan, you have to admit that grapefruit is a great source of vitamin C, lycopene, and other nutrients. This smoothie recipe adds both blueberries and strawberries as well. Even if you don’t usually eat grapefruit you should try this smoothie!
1 1/2 cups pink grapefruit juice.
3/4 cup blueberries
1/2 cup strawberries
1/2 cup ice
1 frozen banana, peeled and sliced (TIP peel and slice BEFORE FREEZING)
(Optional) 1 tbsp Chia or Flax seed.
Add everything to your smoothie blender, mix and enjoy!
