Grapefruit Juice smoothie

You either love grapefruit or you don’t so be warned that this Grapefruit Juice smoothie recipe does have a lot of grapefruit taste.

Personally I have never met anyone who is just so-so about the fruit. But, even if you are not a fan, you have to admit that grapefruit is a great source of vitamin C, lycopene, and other nutrients. This smoothie recipe adds both blueberries and strawberries as well. ¬†Even if you don’t usually eat grapefruit you should try this smoothie!

1 1/2 cups pink grapefruit juice.
3/4 cup  blueberries
1/2 cup strawberries
1/2 cup ice
1 frozen banana, peeled and sliced (TIP peel and slice BEFORE FREEZING)
(Optional) 1 tbsp Chia or Flax seed.

Add everything to your smoothie blender, mix and enjoy!
