healthy avocado smoothie

Avocados are a great source of Vitamins K, B6 and C as well as potassium and dietary fiber.  This is a delicious and healthy Avocado smoothie to enjoy after your workout or for lunch!  Quick and easy to make;

In your favorite blender mix:

  • 1 cup of ripe avocado meat (you can use fresh or even frozen avocado chunks or pulp)
  • 1 cup of low-fat soy milk
  • 1 Tablespoon honey
  • 1 Tablespoon Chia seed

Combine the 4 ingredients in the blender and mix until blended.  If you need to make creamier add a few ice cubes to the mix.  The amount of ice you use will depend on the consistency of the fruit or if you are using frozen avocado.
