This really healthy banana Mango smoothie is another good recipe to add to a smoothie diet. Its also a real treat. Bananas and mangoes blend up into a wonderful meal. Both the bananas and the mangoes are low in calories, offer dietary fiber, and provide vitamins such as vitamin A and vitamin C.
The Chia seed is optional but, if you do use it, it won’t change the taste of the recipe at all and it will add a lot more nutritional value including very important heart healthy omega-3 fatty acids. And, unlike flax, it can be used in the mix without having to grind it first.
In your favorite blender mix:
-1 cup of frozen banana chips (or a peeled and sliced frozen banana)
-1 cup of mango, sliced
-1 cup of V8 -lite Peach Mango juice
-1 tablespoon Chia seed
