Sometimes working with basic juicer recipes you can make a healthy smoothie recipe that you will enjoy, and find more filling for a meal.  Apples and carrots are often combined in a juice frequently used for detox.  But adding a bit of spinach will change this juicing recipe into a delicious healthy smoothie recipe you can enjoy for lunch or as one of your healthy snack ideas.

-1  Red Delicious or Granny Smith apple  (with or without skin) cored, seeded and cut in chunks

-1 cup of fresh spinach

-2 carrots scrubbed and cut in chunks

-1 small slice of ginger root

-1 cup of chilled V8 V-Lite Fusion Juice

-1 tbsp. Chia seed

If you need to you can add a little more juice if you need so you can have the consistency you like best.
