Sometimes, going back to basics is fine. This basic orange smoothie doesn’t have any exotic ingredients nor does it rely on unique pairing of different fruits. Instead, this is a simple and basic orange smoothie recipe that nobly serves its purpose of delivering a load of orange taste and deserves a place on your healthy snacks list. Also, I think this is a great breakfast smoothie and not bad in the afternoon either. No matter when you drink it, you will enjoy it.
Its also easy to turn this Orange smoothie healthy snacks treat into an awesome nutrition powerhouse just by adding a tablespoon of Chia seed. Chia is a natural seed that adds a large measure of nutrition including heart healthy, cholesterol fighting omega 3 fatty acids and antioxidants. Even better, unlike Flax, Chia doesn’t have a noticeable taste of its own so adding it here won’t change the delicious results.
