The kiwi is an interesting fruit. Nutritionally, it has more vitamin C than an equivalent orange and will cost you under 50 calories. Plus, it blends well, as this kiwi-grape smoothie recipe shows.
The other primary ingredient here are seedless grapes. Grapes aren’t as nutritionally potent as kiwi but a full cup (and that’s a LOT of grapes) is still under 125 calories. In this recipe I put my grapes in the freezer overnight for extra “cold” in the drink.
Blended together, a kiwi-grape smoothie is a low calorie, high nutrition treat.
In your favorite blender mix:
- -1/2 cup of no calorie lemonade (Crystal light-has no calories)
- -1/4 cup of soy milk
- -2 fresh kiwis, peeled and cut in chunks
- -1 cup of frozen seedless grapes
