With kids back in school–our focus has been on putting together easy breakfast smoothies that are easy to make. It would also be nice if they were also, healthy, nutritious and meals that everyone likes. This Kiwi Mixed Fruit smoothie is a perfect answer!
In yourIn your favorite blender mix:
-3 kiwis peeled and cut in chunks
-1 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)
-Frozen banana, peeled and sliced (TIP: Peel and slice BEFORE FREEZING)
-1 cup chilled orange juice
Be forewarned that this recipe is going to make about 3 8 oz. drinks or 2 12 oz. so plan accordingly.
If you are using fresh strawberries and the results aren’t cold enough, try adding a few ice cubes during the mixing process.
