Looking for a mixed fruit veggie smoothie to try next? If so, this mixed fruit vegges smoothie is both green and really good! Kiwi fruit, grapes, and spinach combined with yogurt and fruit juice makes for a satisfying and healthy treat anytime of day.
The mix calls for Chia seed but it is optional. If you do use it, it will not change the taste of the recipe but it will add a whole range of minerals and vitamins including heart healthy omega-3 fatty acids. Unlike flax, it does not need to be ground before using. We use it in most of our recipes and love it.
In your favorite blender mix:
– 1 cup of green grapes
– 2 kiwi, peeled and cut in chunks
– 2 cuts of raw spinach
– 1 cup of low fat kiwi yogurt
– 1 cup of cold Dole Strawberry kiwi juice
– 1 tablespoon Chia seed
Start by adding 1/2 cup of juice and continue adding and blending until your smoothie is the consistency you like best. Pour into a chilled glass and enjoy!
