Tasty and Healthy Orange and Pineapple Smoothie
This is a smoothie recipe that is just perfect for fruit lovers or anyone who wants to increase the amount of fruit in their daily diet in a delicious way.
I also like this as an afternoon “hold me over till dinner” treat in the summertime. It is a great fruit treat that won’t leave you feeling like you’ve eaten too much.
In your favorite blender mix:
1 cup pineapple
1 cup sliced oranges
1 frozen banana, peeled and sliced (TIP: peel and slice BEFORE FREEZING)
1 cup low fat or soy milk
1 tbsp Chia seed
Ice to taste- you might not need to much if you are using a frozen banana
Optional: There’s nothing wrong with using a sprinkle of shredded coconut as a garnish
