If you haven’t yet tried kiwi fruit, this smoothie recipe is a great way to start. Kiwi fruit contain potassium, as well as vitamins C, A, and E. Also high in protein, no-fat, delicious and so easy to make! Add in a cup of Orange juice for even more citrus goodness and you have a very healthy and very tasty treat! After your workout….take a few minutes and blend the following for a delicious mid-morning break!
- 1 kiwi
- ¾ cup orange juice
- 1 frozen banana, peeled and sliced
- 1 Tbsp Chia seed
- ½ cup ice cubes
Combine all the ingredients in a blender using only ¼ cups of ice first and process, adding more ice as needed and beat until smooth.
