If nutrition is your goal, try adding a tbsp. of Chia seed to the mix. Chia is rich in a number of nutrients including heart healthy omgega-3 fatty acids. Even better, Chia will not change the taste of the recipe.
In your favorite blender mix:
2 cups vanilla frozen yogurt
1½ cups cold milk (soy, lowfat, 2% or whole)
½ cup frozen orange juice concentrate
1 Tbsp. Chia seed
Put all ingredients into the blender and blend until the mix reaches a consistency you prefer. Pour into a chilled glass, garnish with a fresh slice of orange and enjoy!’
