Peaches are low in calories, provide Vitamins, C and A, and high in fiber. Mixed with cranberries (rich with antioxidants) in a smoothie, this delicious fruit combination builds your immune system, and boost your cardiovascular system as well as help in the fight against some cancers.
A Peach Cranberry Smoothie is a winning combination that is healthy, delicious and very easy to make!
In your blender combine:
- 2 large cold peaches, cored, and cut in chunks (or if peaches are not in season, 1 ½ cups of frozen or canned peaches
- ¼ cup of cold cranberry sauce. You can use fresh cranberries that you have cooked down or canned cranberry sauce
- 1 cup cold cranberry juice
Blend these ingredients on in your blender, adding about 4-6 ice cubes until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses and serve.
