What could be more summery than a Peach Orange smoothie>

When the warm weather finally comes around again the less time you have to spend indoors the better. Today we have an absurdly simple Peach Orange smoothie recipe that tastes great, is low in calories, and won’t take a long time to prepare leaving you more outdoor time to enjoy.But you will still be getting a lot of nutrition. Orange juice is packed with vitamin C and peaches are a great source of dietary fiber, and vitamin A. Mixed together with a cup of Greek Yogurt (11 gram of protein and a lot of Calcium), you have created a delicious and healthy Peach Orange start to your day.

Again we have included Chia seed as an optional ingredient because it brings so much more vitamins and minerals to the recipe without changing the recipe’s results.  Chia also adds a whole lot more nutrition to your smoothie including important heart healthy omgea-3 fatty acids.

In your favorite blender mix:

  • 1 cup fresh Orange juice
  • 1 cup vanilla Greek yogurt (low fat is fine if you prefer)
  • 1 cup peaches, frozen or fresh
  • 1 tbsp. Chia seed
  • Ice to taste
