Here is a hearty, satisfying Peanut Butter Almond smoothie recipe that works great as a lunch, or as an anytime treat. And don’t be thrown off by the Peanut Butter. While it is true that it has a bunch of carbohydrates, peanut butter is also rich in protein and dietary fiber. You probably don’t want to make it a regular part of your diet but, as an occasional treat, it is harmless. An added benefit to this recipe is that it fits into a vegetarian diet quite well.

  • 4 tbsp. peanut butter(smooth)
  • 1 cup Almond Milk
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tbsp. agave nectar
  • Ice to Taste
