Many of us love the taste of fresh pineapples, but often we don’t buy them because we find it easier to eat an apple for a snack, instead of cutting up a pineapple. But, keeping a can of pineapple juice in your refrigerator to make a wonderful pineapple berry smoothie is a good strategy to adding a very healthy meal option to your smoothie collection.
In your trusty blendermix:
-1 cup of strawberries (fresh or frozen)
-1 cup of raspberries (fresh or frozen)
-1/2 cup of cold pineapple juice
-1 cup of low-fat plain yogurt
-1 Tbsp. Chia seed
Everything goes into the blender at once and gets blended to your preferred consistency. Presto! A delicious and really healthy pineapple banana smoothie!
