Pineapple Blueberry Smoothie
In the world of smoothies, Blueberry smoothies are a perennial favorite. Quite possibly only strawberry smoothies are more popular. So, to go with the flow, this pineapple blueberry smoothie recipe uses pineapple juice and honey along with blueberries to create a really interesting flavor combination.
This recipe makes a lot so cut it down if you aren’t feeding the family.
In your favorite blender mix:
2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
8 ounces low or no fat vanilla yogurt
1 cup skim or no fat milk
1 1/2 cups pineapple juice
3 tablespoons honey
1 tbsp. Chia seed
Ice to taste
Put everything in the blender, except for the ice, and blend. Add ice cubes a few at a time with the blender running until you achieve your preferred consistency.
