We have more than one Pumpkin smoothie recipe on this site but there aren’t too many more. Pumpkin is a hard flavor to match and needs the right ingredient partnerships to work out well. I think that this Pumpkin Peach smoothie recipe meets that requirement pretty darn well. You can used either fresh or frozen peaches, or even canned for that matter. Also here as an optional ingredient is Chia seed. If you do use it you will be adding a great deal more nutritional value to the overall mix including heart healthy omega-3 fatty acids. Best of all, Chia seed won’t alter the really good taste of the original Pumpkin Peach smoothie.
- 2 cups peaches (canned, fresh, or frozen)
- 2 previously frozen bananas, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup apple juice
- 3/4 cub canned pumpkin
- 1 cup filtered water
- ! tbsp. Chia seed (optional)
- Ice to Taste
