Raspberry avocado breakfast smoothie; that’s a mouthful to say in one breath but its really good to drink!
These are two fruits that always seem to fly somewhat below the radar for different reasons. Avocado because they have a deservedly great reputation as an essential ingredient in so many Mexican styled recipes it is sometimes hard to think of them in another context. And Raspberries always seem to take a backseat to more popular fruits like strawberries and blueberries.
This Raspberry Avocado Breakfast Smoothie allows both fruits shine in a very tasty and interesting recipe. If you are being adventuresome, this recipe is one you should try.
In your favorite blender mix:
- half a cup of fresh or frozen raspberries
- 1 avocado, sliced for easier blending
- 1 cup cold raspberry juice
- 2 oranges, peeled and sliced for easier blending
- 1 tbsp. Chia seed (optional)
