Turn this recipe into a nutritional powerhouse just by adding a tablespoon of Chia seed to the mix. Unlike Flax seed, Chia doesn’t have any taste of its own so adding isn’t going to change the tasty results at all. Even better than that, Chia seed brings a whole range of antioxidants and other nutrition to the party including cholesterol fighting, heart healthy omega 3 fatty acids.
1 cup of frozen raspberries
6 oz. nonfat Greek-style lemon yogurt
1 tsp honey
1 tbsp Chia seed
Load all ingredients into your favorite blendera smoothie. Mix on a medium setting until smooth.
