Lots of like keeping a bunch of grapes in the refrigerator that we can grab when we need a quick sweet fix. But we often don’t think about adding them to dishes like we do strawberries or blueberries. While they might be a little out of the ordinary, they can be the perfect touch to for a yummy seedless grape smoothie. Next time you have grapes on your shopping list, give this recipe a try.
In your favorite blender mix:
-1 frozen banana, peeled and sliced (TIP: peel and slice BEFORE FREEZING)
-1 cup of low-fat plain yogurt
-1 tablespoon of honey
-1/2 cup of sweet seedless grapes for mixing and an extra bunch for serving
Mix until smooth, throw a few whole grapes in the bottom of the glass, add the smoothie mix and top with a bunch of grapes for extra munching…..just scrumptious!
If you have (or have had) small children you probably remember “veggieTales”. It dates from the early 90s and features cartoon characters such as Bob the Tomato and Larry the cucumber.
