Green smoothies are not only delicious, but they can also give you 5-8 servings of fruits and vegetables, which we all need for healthy living. If you make smoothie with 2/3rds fruit and 1/3rd veggies, you can lower your chance of heart disease, cleanse your body, build a strong immune system to fight off the daily germs, and help you to lose weight and then control it too! Here is a Spinach Pear recipe to try this week.

-2 pears, cored and cut in chunks
-Large handful of fresh spinach
-1 cup of cold juice-try mango, mango peach or apple; they all make a smoothie with a wonderful blend of flavors
-1 teaspoon of Chia seed
