In most households a jar of fruit jam (or preserves) will get used only occasionally so the jar sits in the fridge cluttering up things forever. This Strawberry Jam Smoothie recipe obviously uses strawberry jam but just about any flavor will work.
Also added here is chia seed but it is completely optional. But using it will add a great deal of additional vitamins and minerals including omega-3 fatty acids without changing the delicious strawberry fruit taste.
1 frozen banana, peeled and sliced
1 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
1 cup Kale leaves
2 tbsp. Strawberry Jam (your favorite)
1 tbsp. Chia seed
1 cup Vanilla Greek Yogurt
