Strawberry Oatmeal Yogurt Smoothie
There is no better way to start your morning than having a fruit smoothie. But, some might argue, a better morning start could be a bowl of oatmeal, because it is one of the favorite choices for people looking to lower cholesterol. So, to make the perfect morning breakfast, try an oatmeal smoothie. This tasty combo will provide all the energy you need to power through your morning. Healthy too!
In your favorite blender mix:
– 1 cup of frozen strawberries
– 1/2 cup of oatmeal rolled oats
– 1/4 cup of cold vanilla-flavored soy milk (or regular, your choice)
– 1/2 cup of low-fat strawberry yogurt
– 1 Tbsp.Chia Seed
Start with 1/4 cup of soy and 1/2 cup yogurt and a little more of each if you-if you need to-till your smoothie is the consistency you like best.
Pour, top with a fresh strawberry and serve!
