What with all the healthy breakfast smoothie recipe choices we have here you would think that we have a breakfast smoothie every morning. But that is just not the case.
I get up much, much earlier than my partner and, if I serenaded her each morning with a blender mixing up smoothies, I wouldn’t have lasted as long as I have. So, a lot of mornings I have very quiet cereal with fruit. It doesn’t taste a good but it does allow for more sleep.
All this leads me to a new-ish healthy breakfast smoothie recipe I have tried and it is pretty darn good.
Should you and your partner rise together, or if your partner sleeps more soundly than mine, I think this is one you will very much enjoy.
In your favorite blender mix:
- One Cup Raspberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1/2 Mango, sliced
- 3 sliced peaches
- 1 cup vanilla Greek Yogurt
- Ice to Taste
