Well, yes, corn flakes can be used as a smoothie ingredient. In fact they are quite good. We haven’t tried all the potential permutations yet but this one is really, really good.
At its heart, this smoothie is a pretty traditional Raspberry smoothie. But! Adding flakes gives it a bit more body than you would think and adds a whole lot of fun as well.
In your favorite blender mix:
- 1 cup milk (your choice, whole, soy, etc.)
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yougart
- 1/2 cup Raspberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1/2 cup corn flakes
- Sweetener to taste (honey, or whatever your favorite is)
After blending, serve in a glass with a bit more flakes on top. This is a pretty simple smoothie to make but delivers a lot of satisfaction and taste.
