This mix is a particularly tart and tasty fruit veggie smoothie because it includes fresh lemons as well as a whole lot of other really healthy and flavorful stuff!
In your favorite blender mix:
1 cup of chilled lemonade
2 granny smith apples cored/seeded and cut in chunks
1 ripe banana cut in chunks (good source of potassium)
2 cups fresh spinach (rich in antioxidants, Vitamin A, iron, and magnesium)
1 avocado cored peeled and cut in chunks (offer fiber, potassium, Vitamins E and B, and folic acid)
1 lemon, cut up (with or with skin) (low in saturated fat, good source of thiamine, potassium and Vitamin C)
1 Tablespoon Chia seed
