Fruit nutrition is one of the key ways to build up our immune systems and keep ourselves healthy. Here is a delicious yogurt smoothie that you can make for breakfast or as a refreshing snack that is sure to give you the vitamin boost we all need.

This recipe also includes Chia seed for even more nutritional value including heart healthy, cholesterol fighting omega-3 fatty acids. Chia has no taste of its own so adding it to this recipe won’t change the fruit and yogurt goodness at all.

In your favorite blender mix:

-1 frozen banana, peeled and sliced
-1 cup of frozen strawberries
-1 cup of frozen raspberries
-1 cup of low fat raspberry yogurt
-1 cup cold apple juice, or even try a juice mix like Minute Maid Cranberry Apple Raspberry
-i Tbsp. Chia seed (optional)
