A Carrot Apple smoothie with a bit of ginger is a tasty and very health promoting recipe. Stocked with Beta Carotine, vitamin A, and pectin and even more nutrition courtesy of the added Chia seed, this recipe can’t help but promote your good health!
In your favorite blender mix:
– 1 cup of chopped carrots (good choice of vitamin A and beta carotene)
– 1 apple cut in chunks, (rich with pectin to help break down toxins in the intestines)
– 1 cup of apple juice
– 1/4 teaspoon of ginger (helps promote a healthy digestive system)
– 1 Tbsp. Chia seed
All ingredients go into your blender at the same time and get mixed until you get the consistency you prefer. Presto! A Carrot Apple Smoothie appears!
