Here is an easy Apricot Orange fruit smoothie recipe. It is pretty healthy, easy to make and will quickly satisfy that sweet tooth too!
When your grocers and fruit markets are selling apricots – it is such a treat to pick up this sweet fruit and make a refreshing desert smoothie. But, you can always use canned or frozen if fresh are not available so you can enjoy this delicious treat year around.
In your blender mix:
1 cup of apricot slices
1 cup of apricot yogurt
1 cup of orange sherbert
1/2 cup of chilled orange juice
1 tablespoon Chia seed
You might need to add a little more orange juice for consistency, but that will depend on the texture of the fruit. Mix to your desired consistency, pour into chilled glasses and top with a slice of orange, serve and enjoy. This recipe will make two (2) servings.
