Grapes are wonderful! They come in their own packaging and don’t take up a lot of room. So, many of love having a bunch of grapes in the refrigerator that we can grab when we need a quick sweet fix. But as good as they are, too often we don’t think to add them in our cooking like we do strawberries or blueberries.
That is unfortunate as they can be the perfect touch to for a yummy yogurt smoothie. Try this banana grape yogurt smoothie recipe the next time you bring grapes home.
In your favorite blender mix:
-1 frozen banana, peeled and sliced (TIP: peel and slice BEFORE FREEZING)
-1 cup of low-fat plain yogurt (Greek yogurt works really well)
-1 tablespoon of honey
-1/2 cup of sweet seedless grapes for mixing and a few more for garnish
Mix until smooth, throw a few whole grapes in the bottom of the glass, add the smoothie mix and top with a bunch of grapes for extra munching…..just scrumptious!
