This Cherry Strawberry recipe can be enjoyed all year around using frozen produce. That’s good but its even better when you can use fresh. The Chis seed is optional but, if you do use it, it provides a great deal of extra nutrition including hearth healthy omega-3 fatty acids.
1 cup pitted cherries
1 cup of strawberries-fresh or frozen
1 cup flavored vanilla or cherry yogurt
½ cup milk (your choice whole, 2%, soy, rice)
4-6 ice cubes. The amount of ice cubes you use will depend on the consistency of the fruit. Typically if you use frozen cherries and strawberries you will use less ice cubes.
