If you love apples, and fast healthy meals, you have to try this Apple Banana fruit smoothie! You might even find it better than any apple pie you have ever eaten!
Mix the following ingredients in your blender and mix till it is a smooth texture. Add some more apple chunks if you want a thicker-chunkier smoothie, or a few ice cubes if you want a lighter texture. Optionally, add a tbsp. of Chia seed for more nutrition including heart healthy omega=3 fatty acids.
In your favorite blender mix:
– 1 medium peeled apple cut in pieces
– 1 medium banana cut in pieces
– ½ cup of apple sauce
– ½ cup of cold apple cider
– 2 Tbsp maple syrup
– ½ tsp of cinnamon
– (optional) 1 tbsp. Chia seed
For a crisp refreshing drink it is always good to use fruits and juices that have been chilled in the refrigerator.
