This Mango Banana smoothie mix is a tropical delight and one filled with a wide-variety of vitamins, minerals and nutrients you will want to add to your daily diet! The Chia seed is optional but, unlike the much better known Flax seed, Chia has no real taste of its own so adding it won’t change the results of the recipe and it will add a good amount of nutrition including heart healthy omega-3 fatty acids.
- 1 mango peeled and cut into chunks
- 1 banana cut into chunks
- 1.5 cups of pineapple-orange fruit juice
- 1 cup of low-fat yogurt (vanilla or banana)
- 1 tbsp Chia seed.
In a blender mix the bananas, mango, pineapple-orange juice and yogurt until smooth. Serve and enjoy!
