In this Orange juice and Carrot smoothie both fruits and vegetables can mix nicely for some of the most delicious smoothies you can eat as a light lunch or afternoon snack. We also have included Chia seed as an optional ingredient. If you include the Chia you will also be including a wide range of extra nutritional value including important heart healthy omega-3 fatty acids. Also, Chia doesn’t have much taste of its own so using it won’t change the results of the recipe.
In your blender mix:
- 1 cup cold Orange Juice (fresh is best)
- 3 chopped carrots (no need to peel them)
- 1 frozen banana, peeled and sliced
- 1 tbsp. Chia seed (optional)
