Tonight after dinner, treat yourself! Mixing fresh or frozen strawberries with frozen yogurt makes a Strawberry Yogurt smoothie dessert in a glass that you surely will enjoy anytime you make it.
If you would like to add nutritional value to this strawberry yogurt smoothie, throw in a tablespoon of Chia seed. Chia has a great deal of nutritional value including cholesterol fighting, heart healthy omega-3 fatty acids. And you don’t need to worry about changing the very tasty results of this recipe; Chia has no taste of its own so it will just kind of disappear into the mix.
In your smoothie blender mix:
-1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
-1/2 cup Dole Strawberry Orange Banana Juice
-1 cup low fat frozen strawberry yogurt or your favorite Strawberry ice cream if you aren’t concerned with calories
-1 tablespoon Chia seed
When fully mixed, pour into a chilled glass, top with a fresh strawberry and enjoy!
