Its Valentines Day and you deserve a treat. And what could be a better treat than this Valentines day smoothie recipe. Easy to make and a delight to eat, its just for you on a very special day.
One wold of caution though, this isn’t the worst smoothie in terms of calories but it isn’t the best either; especially if you go “all the way” and add some whipped cream and chocolate syrup garnish.
In your blender mix:
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup low fat strawberry yogurt
1 scoop chocolate frozen yogurt
If you want to add some additional nutrition even on a holiday, add in 1 Tbsp. Chia seed
Blend to the consistency you like best and top with strawberry and some yummy chocolate syrup-the perfect treat for Valentine’s Day!
