Watermelons are the summer fruit. Catagorized as both fruit and vegetable, red and juicy watermelons just define a summer treat. Now add tangy and tasty raspberries in the same mix and the resulting watermelon raspberry smoothie is a summer treat that is really hard to beat.
While this recipe calls for ice cream (and it is hard to describe how good it is), many calorie conscious folks will probably want to exchange the ice cream for frozen yogurt. Or, even non fat Greek yogurt will work.
With just three ingredients, this recipe is a snap to put together.
-2 cups of chilled watermelon chunks
-1 cup of raspberries (fresh or frozen)
-1 cup (about 2 scoops) of Breyer’s Fat Free Creamy Vanilla ice cream.
